Li

Lara Li first got introduced to the cello at the age of 10. Throughout the years, she has participated in the Houston Youth Symphony and TMEA All-Region. She continues to study with Ms. Olive Chen and currently attends HSPVA as a junior cellist.

Ashley Chu started playing the violin in the first grade. She scored a 1 in UIL Solo and Ensemble along with achieve many awards with her school's orchestra throughout the years. She has been under the study of Chizu Kataoka and is currently a junior in the Kinder HSPVA orchestra.

Morgan
Hsieh
V I C E P R E S I D E N T
Starting at seven years old, Morgan Hsieh has played violin for over a decade. After being enrolled in Parker Elementary, she was encouraged to begin her studies in grade one. She has participated in the Houston Youth Symphony, TMEA All-Region, and TMEA All-State. She studies under Tina Zhang and is currently a junior at Kinder HSPVA in the instrumental department for orchestra (violin).

Gronfor
E V E N T C O O R D I N A T O R
Clara Gronfor is a junior in the instrumental department at HSPVA studying violin in the orchestra. Coming from a family full of classical musicians, music has played a huge role her entire life. She has been playing for over 10 years under the guidance of her teacher Meredith Harris. She has also taken part in the Houston Youth Symphony and has played in the region 23 orchestra.

Emily Vanlandingham
T R E A S U R E R
Emily Vanlandingham started participating in vocal activities singing in her children's choir at her church in kindergarten. After being enrolled in Parker Elementary, Emily continued her love for choir with Mrs. Mariana Simpson for five years. She continued to work with her in the Trebel Choir of Houston after graduation. Emily is now a junior at Kinder HSPVA in the vocal department and serves as the treasurer of Tri-M.
